North Kansas City, Mo., Recruitment Winners

The North Kansas City School District took first place in the YouthFriends October Recruitment Campaign Contest, bringing in the most new mentors in October and winning $2,500.

Left to right: Brenda Lee and Pam Polson, North Kansas City School District Coordinator. Brenda is the Building Connector who won the Plaza weekend prize package through the YouthFriends October Recruitment Campaign Contest. Also, Brenda's school, Maple Park Middle School, received an $837 check for its YouthFriends program. Brenda brought in 36 applications during the contest.
